Sale on at Pink Lily

Just to let you all know that I am having a pre-christmas sale over at my Etsy shop. All of the stitch markers have been reduced in price, some over 35%! I'll even giftwrap them for you!

So, if you're stuck for gifts for knitterly friends, look no further....just click on pinklilydesign on the righthand side bar and you'll go straight there.

It's like time travel. But better. Actually, if I could travel like that, I'd be in the Maldives right now, or the Cook Islands. Anywhere but here today, in drizzly ol' England :(

My Etsy Shop is Open For Business...Come On In!!

Hooray, I know you were wondering where I was!!!

Well, I was tangling myself up in knots, (makes a change from doing it with Koigu), getting my shop together. It's not easy when you're technically challenged like me!!

But I'm finally open.

Come on in and have a look round. I won't mind if you want to buy something either. You know it'll be sent to you with a little bit of love. Aaaaaah!

Amy Butler Bag

OMG I am turning into a bag production line! This is the Amy Butler Madison Uptown Bag. It was so quick and easy to make, it took as long to cut it out as it did to sew it up. Not long, all done in an afternoon. It's a nice size, an odd shape if you ask me. If I made it again I think I'd make it with a little more height and a bit narrower! I do like it thought and it's the sort of thing I am thinking of putting in my Etsy shop. Not sure how much to charge for something like this though. It didn't use a huge amount of fabric, probably only half a metre for the lining and then for the exterior.

On the bucket bag front, I took it to pick my daughter up from school today (yes I know it's Saturday) and to see how I felt with a bucket on my arm. I didn't mind it too much, so it may grow on me. I shan't waste any time yet lining it though. That may or may not happen at some point in the future.

Hope you all are having a good weekend. I'm off to cook tagliatelle!
