Basil
September 1989-November 2008
Very sad news. Basil died yesterday morning. He was 19 years and 2 months old.
We had been together a long time, since he was 12 weeks old and I was 24.
He was with me through chemo, and with me before even I met Rob and before Lily was born.
He was the most calm and easy going cat (as long as his dinner was on time) and I will miss him so very much.
It is so strange getting up in the morning and not seeing him there, or having him come around the corner.
I know he will be more comfortable now and I hope he becomes a beautiful panther in his next life, but I am happy to have known him and loved him, and had him love me,for so long.

Oh, I am very sorry to hear about your loss. My cats are both sixteen years old so I know I will be dealing with this soon and am dreading it. On a brighter note, I like your idea about him becoming a beautiful panther in his next life!

sorry to hear about your cat liz :( but im sure he is enjoying himself in cat heaven.
